It takes individuals to get things done. And it takes a village to get great things done. I am proud of everyone who participated in the campaigns for Beck, Tuke, Padgett, Vandergriff, Berke, Brown, Favors, and Matthews. Participating in the political process makes you winners in my book.Now we have to re-focus on November. Now we must get Andy Berke, Tommie Brown, and JoAnne Favors re-elected. Now we must get Bob Tuke elected to the U.S. Senate and Vandergriff elected to the U.S. House. And now we must get Barack Obama elected to the U.S. Presidency. This effort will take all of us. I hope I can count on each of you. This post has 2 replies... Gave it a try,keep on keeping on ,we have to stand to gether or we will die I would like to personally thank the over 1,065 Democrats who chose Mark Clayton to be their next U.S. Senator. We ran a hard campaign, and although many of you may be disappointed with this year's result, please do not give up.
I am honored by your choice to vote for me this year and will continue to do whatever I can to defend Tennesseans from internet censorship, the imperial and un-American neoconservative agenda, and to protect us from warrantless wiretapping.
