"UNITY PROCLAMATION" AT 11 A.M. TODAY AT PARTY HEADQUARTERS
Please join us today as we bring together local supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama to unite and start working to elect Barack Obama as our next President of the United States.
We will meet for a "Unity Proclamation" at 11 a.m. at the Party Headquarters at 23 Patten Parkway. I will ask Annie Hall, 3rd District Coordinator for the Clinton campaign, and Justin Wilkins, East Tennessee Volunteer Coordinator for the Obama Campaign and a 3rd District Delegate for Obama, to say a few words about moving forward.
Both Clinton and Obama brought out record number of voters to the polls during the primaries in all 50 states. In fact, they brought out record numbers in Tennessee and Hamilton County as well. And this November, we will bring out record numbers locally to elect Barack Obama.
There is an urgency to this election. We cannot stand for another Bush presidency, because that is what we will get with Senator John McCain, a repeat of Bush and his failed politics on the economy, energy, healthcare and war.
Again, join us this morning for a great start to a great win in November.
